Travel Itinerary

DAY 1Arrival to Istanbul

Upon arrival in Istanbul, you will be greeted by “Veni Vidi Travel” with Turkish hospitality and transferred to hotel (Check-In 13:00). Remainder of day at leisure.

DAY 2Historical Istanbul City Sightseeing

Your day will commence with a visit to the ancient Byzantine Hippodrome where you will tour the Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentine Column, Fountain of Wilhelm II. Then proceed to the elegant Blue Mosque famous with its heavenly six minarets. Before lunch, visit the Hagia Sophia Museum, built during the reign of Emperor Theodosius and burned down in the fire of Nika Revolt in 532 A.D. After lunch break at local restaurant, you will visit the Topkapi Palace (excluding harem), residence and administrative center of the Ottoman Sultans. Day tour will finish with the visit of Grand Bazaar.

OPTIONAL |Bosphorus Dinner Cruise
Admire spectacular views of Istanbul’s beautifully illuminated palaces, mosques and Bosphorus bridges, and enjoy a delicious 3-course dinner with select drinks. Glittering entertainment from belly dancers, whirling dervishes and other artistes is included, along with hotel pickup & drop-off.

DAY 3Bosphorus Cruise & Dolmabahce Palace Visit

Meet your guide at hotel lobby for a short drive to Spice Market, Egyptian Bazaar heaped with various sweets & spices is one of the world’s largest spice bazaars since 1665. Soon after, you will visit the Rustem Pasha Mosque. Then embark on the Bosphorus ferry for an unforgettable cruise along the Bosphorus, the beautiful strait that divides Europe from Asia. After lunch break, day tour will continue with driving across the first Bosphorus Bridge & head for the summit of Camlica Hill, which offers 360° panoramic views of Istanbul overlooking the Sea of Marmara. Driving back to Europe over the Bosphorus Bridge, you will visit Dolmabahce Palace (excluding harem), the imperial residence of the last six Sultans, with more than 340 rooms & 8 Turkish baths.

DAY 4Travel to Canakkale - Explore Gallipoli Battlefields

Early morning drive to the Gallipoli Peninsula along the Thracian coastline viewing the countryside and villages on the European soil of Turkey. After lunch breakin Eceabat, you will be driven to Gallipoli Peninsula and visit Brighton Beach, Beach Cemetery, Anzac Cove, Ariburnu (First ANZAC landing place), Anzac Commemorative Site, Respect to Mehmetcik Statue, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston’s Jolly (Turkish & Allied trenches and tunnels), 57. Regiment Turkish Memorial, The Nek, Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial. Then across the Dardanelles Strait by ferryboat to Canakkale.

DAY 5Visit Troy & Pergamum Ancient Cities - Travel to Kusadasi

After check-out you will visit Ancient Troy and see the current excavations, 9 layers of old cities, the Trojan Horse, and you will hear and see from your guides remaining of the Trojan War. Then the day will continue with a drive the Ancient Greek city of Pergamum which was built on the top of a cone-shaped Acropolis, rising over a thousand feet above the surrounding valley. You will be escorted to The Sanctuary of Trajan, Sanctuary of Athena, Library, Royal palaces, Temple of Dionysus, Upper Agora, Roman baths complex. After the tour, proceed to Kusadasi.

DAY 6Ephesus Ancient City Discovery

After meeting your guide, you will proceed to the Ancient City of Ephesus, the best preserved Greco-Roman City in the world. Here you will see the Agora, Odeon, Curetes Street, Celsius Library, famous Roman Baths, the Grand Theatre & Marble Street. Then you will visit the Temple of Artemis, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. After lunch break at local restaurant, day tour will proceed with a visit to the House of Virgin Mary & Isa Bey Mosque.

DAY 7Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour

With early morning morning check-out, you will be driven to Hierapolis meaning “sacred city’’, famous for its hot springs. The calcium waters rise from the ground at a temperature of 35 C and tumble down the mountain from a height of 100 meters, forming a myriad of pools. Cream-colored stalactites are formed as the water overflows from the pools, creating a breathtaking sight unequalled in the world. Bring swimwear as you may have time to swim in the Antique Pool (extra fee applies.) Also visit the ancient ruins of the City of Hierapolis with its basilica, theatre, Roman Bath and Necropolis. After some relaxation time in the calcium pools famous for the healing properties, you will be taken to your hotel.

DAY 8Drive to Antalya – Day at Leisure

With the conclusion of check-out, you will be met by your driver & proceed to Antalya which will take around 3hrs. After check-in to your hotel, balance of the day will be at leisure to explore the Old City.

DAY 9Mediterranean Jewels Tour – Flight to Cappadocia

Your guided tour of today starts with a visit to Perge Ancient City, which once was one of the most important cities along the Mediterranean coast. From here you will visit the world famous ancient Greco – Roman Amphitheater Aspendos, which is the most well preserved example in the world. After visiting this impressive site, you will have a lunch break followed by a visit to Side. Today’s tour will end with the visit of the Kursunlu Waterfalls. After the tour, you will be transferred to Antalya Airport for the evening flight to Cappadocia. Tonight will offer you the wonderful opportunity to sleep in a traditional Cappadocian cave hotel.

DAY 10North Cappadocia with Goreme Museum

In the morning section of the tour, you will visit Three Beauties, Devrent Valley, Pasabag Valley, Avanos Village & Old Streets, Kizilirmak River, and join a Discovery Series “Art of Pottery in Asia Minor” event. After lunch break at local restaurant, you will join for a trekking at Red Valley which will take around 1hr and day tour will conclude with the visits of Cavusin & Goreme Open Air Museum.

OPTIONAL |Cappadocia Balloon Ride

DAY 11South Cappadocia & Kaymakli Underground City – Flight to Istanbul

On your second day in Cappadocia region, you will visit Mustafa Pasa Village, Kaymakli Underground City, Ortahisar Castle & Village, Piegon Valley, Uchisar Castle (no interior visit) & Esentepe View Point. Lunch will be served at local restaurant at Ortahisar Village. On this days Discovery Series you will join “Art of Turkish Carpets” event at the end of the tour. With the conclusion of the day tour, you will be transferred Kayseri Airport for the evening flight to Istanbul. On your arrival to Istanbul, you will be met & transferred to your hotel.
