Travel Itinerary

DAY 1Arrival to Casablanca

Upon arrival at the airport of Casablanca Mohammed V, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Our representative will provide a brief overview of your tour.

DAY 2 Morning in Casablanca, afternoon in Rabat

We start today with a tour of Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital. We’ll visit the central market, the Royal Palace, the Habous disctrict, Mohamed V Square, the Anfa residential area and the exterior of the impressive Hassan II Mosque on the seafront. After lunch we’ll head to Rabat, Morocco’s administrative capital and tour the old town, including the Royal Palace (Mechouar), the Oudaya Kasbah, Hassan Tower, and Mohamed V Mausoleum. Arrive into Fes, check into the hotel.

DAY 3Rabat to The Blue City of Chefchaouen

After breakfast we will drive to Chefchaouen via the Rif Mountain, crossing Wazzan and other Rif’s villages. Chefchaouen (bleu city) is a popular tourist attraction and welcoming town, situated in the Rif Mountains. This nice bleu city is known for its traditional buildings. Enjoy a walk to explore the white and blue washed walls of the medina and the markets that offer some unique native handicrafts. Discover the Plaza Outa el-Hammam, the main square before enjoying a bite to eat at one of the nearby restaurants or cafés.

DAY 4To Fez via Meknes

We leave Rabat this morning and drive to the Berber town of Meknes. Formerly the capital of Morocco during the reign of Moulay Ismail, he transformed the town, constructing intricate gateways, beautiful gardens and at 40m the largest ramparts in the country. Next is ancient Roman city of Volubilis. Recently listed as a UNESCO world heritage site and dating back as far as AD40, Volubilis is home to some of the most impressive Roman ruins in North Africa. We finish the day with a short drive to the mediaeval city of Fes.

DAY 5Exploring the Imperial City and medieval Medina

Today you will start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets.

Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter, and the first Mellah (old fashioned market) built during the 16th century. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum and Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramique view over the whole Medina of Fez.

DAY 6Fes to Marrakech

Today you will make the journey west to the coast and then south to Marrakech. In order to break up the drive, you will have the option to stop in Meknes, Rabat, or Casablanca. You may want to spend the rest of the afternoon at a slower pace. In the early evening, Jemaa el-Fna comes alive with musicians, performers, snake charmers, and games. As the Square is best experienced in the evening, roam its stalls and vendors taking in the spectacle. Grab a bite at one of the many food stalls or if you want to enjoy the goings-on from a distance, choose one of the cafés surrounding Jemaa el-Fna and enjoy a cup of mint tea and a meal.

DAY 7Full Day To Visit Marrakech

A full-day tour of Marrakech , visit the Menara, a surrounded pool by flowerbeds that function as an irrigation system for the surrounded fields. The sightseeing tour will cover several impressive sights: The Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace and Dar Si Said Palace museum of jewellery. Optional lunch will be in the medina followed by a walk through the colorful souks of Marrakech. Enjoy a sunset drink overlooking the exciting Jamaa El Fna Square from a terrace of a cafe.

DAY 8Marrakech – Casablanca - Departure

After breakfast, we drive to Casablanca through the towns and landscapes of interest in a land of picturesque green lanes, dotted ideal for a pleasant wooded hills this unit. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to Casablanca international airport for your onward travel arrangements with plenty of tales of Arabian days and nights.
