Travel Itinerary

DAY 1Arrival to Casablanca

Welcome to Morocco. On arrival you will be met by a representative of our local operator and transferred to your hotel where your accommodation is reserved for one night. We will visit the exterior of the Hassan II Great Mosque, the world’s second largest, and the only working mosque in Morocco that can be visited by non-Muslims, one of the Islamic world’s greatest monuments. Remainder of day at leisure.

DAY 2 Casablanca – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast depart for Meknes. Visit of this city known as “the Moroccan Versailles” which was founded at the end of the 17th century by Moulay Ismail. The sightseeing of Meknes will include Bab Mansour the best preserved gate in Morocco the royal stables and the Jewish quarter. Continue to the holy city of Moulay Idriss and the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Arrive in Fez and check in at your hotel.

DAY 3Full Day To Visit Fes

The whole day is devoted to the sightseeing of Fez; the most ancient cultural and spiritual city of Morocco. Visit the medieval medina the medersas the exterior of Karaouine Mosque and the famous Nejjarine fountain. This afternoon visit the old medina where you will see different craftsmen still operating in the old oriental tradition. Return to the hotel for overnight.

DAY 4Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

After breakfast, depart towards the desert through the amazing landscapes of Morocco via the Middle Atlas Mountains and passing by the beautiful city of Ifrane, the Switzerland of Morocco. Driving to the south, we get to Midelt to relax and have lunch in the town. In the afternoon, we will continue our way towards Merzouga Desert passing through the panoramic views of Ziz Valley and its gorges with stops to enjoy some memorable photographic shots along the way. Upon reaching Merzouga, switch gears and ride your camel through the dunes to your already-prepared-for-you camp. Climb a nearby sand dune to watch the sunset before returning to camp for a delicious dinner, relaxing by the campfire.

DAY 5Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

We will make sure to wake you up early in order to watch the magnificent view of sunrise from the top of the dunes. Once again you will have the chance to enjoy the camel trek back to your Hotel. After taking a shower, you will enjoy a special Moroccan breakfast. We leave for Rissani where locals gather in a big Souk for trading all kinds of crafts, food and animals, then Erfoud with a stop to visit a fossil craft workshop. Later, we will drive through the great palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad before we get to Todra Gorges, a favorite place for mountain climbers, we will have free time for lunch in a café surrounded by rock walls and then enjoy the spectacular sceneries of its marvelous canyons with several stops for pictures. After lunch, we will drive through Dades Valley where you will walk along the valley and see fabulous rock formations. After that, we continue until we reach Boumales Dades to spend the night in a fancy Hotel.

DAY 6Dades Valley – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Today, we will drive towards Ouarzazate passing through kelaa M’gouna known as the Valley of Roses and very famous for its annual Festival of Roses, the road of the thousand Kasbahs, and the spectacular palm grove of Skoura with several opportunities for pictures along the way. Later, we arrive in Ouarzazate known as the Hollywood of Africa; lunch is at a restaurant near the exotic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. After touring this UNESCO World Heritage site, we will set off for Marrakech via Tizi-N-Tichka pass (2260m) over the High Atlas Mountains with a stop to visit a cooperative of argan oil and learn about its benefits. Check-in at your hotel for overnight.

DAY 7Marrakech / Casablanca - Departure

After breakfast, you can start exploring Marrakech «the red city of Morocco”. We will ensure that you see the most important sites of historical and cultural interest, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace. After lunch break at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts. In the afternoon, transfer to Marrakech OR Casablanca international airport for your onward travel arrangements with plenty of tales of Arabian days and nights.
