DAY 1 – Arrival in Istanbul Upon arrival in Istanbul, the city of two continents, you will be greeted by Veni Vidi Travel representative with Turkish hospitality & accompanied during your transfer to the hotel, where you will be briefed by your travel consultant with the remainder of day at leisure to relax &/or check out the city. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 2 – Historical Istanbul Sightseeing Tour (B,L) Your day will commence with a visit to the ancient Byzantine Hippodrome where you will tour the Egyptian Obelisk, Serpentine Column, Fountain of Wilhelm II, the elegant Blue Mosque famous with its heavenly six minarets and the Hagia Sophia Museum, built during the reign of Emperor Theodosius and burned down in the fire of Nika Revolt in 532 A.D. Day tour will continue with a visit to the Grand Bazaar, exploring a labyrinth of streets and passages housing more than 4,000 shops. After lunch you will be guided to visit the Topkapi Palace, residence and administrative center of the Ottoman Sultans. Historical tour of Istanbul will conclude with a visit to the Rustem Pasha Mosque. After the tour you will be leaded back to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 3 – Bosphorus Cruise & Dolmabahce Palace Tour (B,L) Start the day with a visit to the Egyptian Market (Spice Bazaar), with different aromas of various spices From here, join a cruise along the Bosphorus on one of the iconic ferries of Istanbul giving you the chance to see the two bridges that link Europe and Asia. Disembark the ferry and enjoy a trip over the Intercontinental Bosphorus Bridge to Camlica Hill, the highest hill in Asiatic Istanbul to enjoy breathtaking views of both shores. Travel back to Europe with a stop at Dolmabahce Palace, with more than 340 rooms & eight Turkish Baths the imperial residence of the last six Sultans. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 4 – Travel to Gallipoli / Gallipoli (WWI) Battlefields Tour (B,L) Early morning drive to the Gallipoli Peninsula along the Thracian coastline viewing the countryside and villages on the European soil of Turkey. Lunch en- route at Tekirdag. Arriving to the Battlefields and fully guided tour of Anzac Cove, Brighton Beach, Lone Pine, Chunuk Bair, The Nek, trenches, Simpson's Cemetery then across the Dardanelles Strait by ferryboat to Canakkale. Overnight in Canakkale.
DAY 5 – Troy & Pergamum Tour / Travel to Kusadasi (B,L,D) After check-out you will visit Ancient Troy and see the current excavations, 9 layers of old cities, the Trojan Horse, and you will hear and see from your guides remaining of the Trojan War. Then the day will continue with a drive to Pergamum. After lunch start the tour of Pergamum with the Acropolis, the Steepest Theater of the ancient world, Temple of Trojan, the library, Asclepion, the ancient medical center, the oldest known hospital in the world. At the conclusion of your day of sightseeing, you will be driven to the hotel for your stay in Kusadasi. Overnight in Kusadasi.
DAY 6 – Ephesus Ancient City Tour (B,L,D) After breakfast, you will be met and start the tour to Ephesus; one of the grandest cities in the Roman world. Drive to Meryemana and visit the house of Virgin Mary. Continue to Ephesus the Capital of Asia Minor. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules gate, the temple of Hadrian, the magnificent library, Agora and fantastic Greco Roman theater. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.
DAY 7 – Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour/ Travel to Antalya (B,L,D) After breakfast and check-out, drive inland to Pamukkale (white lime cascades), the noted ancient spa, where pure white travertine forms frozen waterfalls. Visit Hierapolis where you will have free time to walk on the terraces (where allowed), after which you will be transferred to Denizli bus station for the day intercity coach to Antalya where you will spend the night. Overnight in Antalya.
DAY 8 – Perge, Aspendos, Side Tour (B,L,D) Your guided tour today starts with a visit to Perge Ancient City, which once was one of the most important cities along the Mediterranean coast. From here you will visit the world famous ancient Greco - Roman Amphitheater Aspendos, which is the most well preserved example in the world. After visiting this impressive site, you will have a lunch break followed by a visit to Side, an ancient site with attractions including Agora, the Gymnasium, the Apollo Temple and the ancient harbor. Evening is at your leisure to explore the old town by night. Overnight in Antalya.
DAY 9 – Travel to Cappadocia (B) After check-out from your hotel you will be transferred to the Antalya central bus station, to board the intercity day coach to Cappadocia with early evening arrival. Tonight will offer you the unique opportunity to sleep in a traditional Cappadocian cave hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 10 – North Cappadocia Tour (B,L) In the morning section of the tour, you will visit Three Beauties, Urgup Town, Red Valley (Panorama) & also join for a trekking at Kiliclar Valley which will take around 1hr 30mins. After lunch break at local restaurant, your day tour will continue with the visits of Avanos Village & Old Streets, Kizilirmak River, join a Discovery Series “Art of Pottery in Asia Minor” event , Devrent Valley, Pasabag Valley & Goreme Open Air Museum. With the conclusion of the day tour, you will be driven to your hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.
DAY 11 – South Cappadocia Tour / Flight to Istanbul (B,L) On your second day in Cappadocia region, you will visit Mustafa Pasa Village, Kaymakli Underground City, Ortahisar Castle & Village, Piegon Valley, Uchisar Castle, Esentepe View Point & Goreme Village. Lunch will be served at local restaurant at Ortahisar Village. On this days Discovery Series you will join “Art of Turkish Carpets” event at the end of the tour. After the tour, you will be transferred to Kayseri Airport for the domestic flight to Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 12 – Istanbul / Departure (B) Breakfast, check-out & transfer to Istanbul International Airport as per your onward flight schedule.
