Cappadocia & Ephesus Package (4 Days)

DAY 1 – Arival in Cappadocia / Full Day North Cappadocia Tour (L)
On arrival in Nevsehir/Kayseri Airport, you will be met by your tour guide & you will proceed to Cappadocia & start your journey with the Devrent Valley which is perfect for exploring rock formations of the famous fairy chimneys and then off to Pasabag (Monk's Valley). Next you will visit the Goreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and view the ancient rock-hewn churches sculpted in the hillsides almost a thousand years ago. Stop at a local restaurant for lunch and then off to join in the Discovery Series “Art of Pottery in Asia Minor” event for the afternoon, offering you the opportunity to visit a cave pottery atelier. Your day will conclude with a visit to the Uchisar Castle, situated at the highest point in the region & Piegon Valley, the famous grounds where pigeons were trained to deliver messages throughout Central Cappadocia, essential for communication. With the conclusion of the day trip, you will be transferred to your hotel. Tonight will offer you the unique opportunity to sleep in a traditional Cappadocian cave hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia

DAY 2 – Full Day South Cappadocia Tour (B,L)
After breakfast, check-out & start your second day tour of Cappadocia with a visit to Red valley,and explore the famous rock- cut churches and hike through the Gulludere valley. Then proceed to Cavusin Village, one of the oldest settlements in the area, stopping at the Church of St. John the Baptist, offering panoramic view of the village. After lunch, you will drive on to the south of Cappadocia to visit Kaymakli Underground City, carved underneath beneath a rocky hill (Kaymakli Castle). The day tour will finish with a stop at Ortahisar village, to visit the natural castles dating back to Eti period. Overnight in Cappadocia.

DAY 3 – Flight to Izmir - Transfer to Kusadasi / Free Afternoon (B,D)
After breakfast & check-out, you will be transferred to Kayseri Airport for direct flight to Izmir. On your arrival to Izmir Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel located in Kusadasi. Afternoon at your leisure to explore town on your own. Overnight in Kusadasi.

DAY 4 – Ephesus Region Tour / Transfer to Izmir Airport (B,L)
Following breakfast & check-out, you will be met by your tour guide & you will proceed to the Ancient City of Ephesus, the great city & metropolitan center of the Antiquity, the best preserved Greco-Roman City in the world. Here you will see the Agora, Odeon, Curetes Street, Celsius Library, famous Roman Baths, the Grand Theatre and Marble Street. After lunch at local restaurant, day tour will continue with a visit the House of Virgin Mary where she is said to be brought here by St. John & have spent the last of her days. Here you will have the chance to see the shrine & small chapel which is a pilgrimage sight just recently visited by Pope Benedict. The tour also includes a visit to the remains of Artemis Temple & before a visit to the old Greek Village of Sirince. After the tour you will be transferred to Izmir Airport for your final departure.
