DAY 01 – Arrival to Athens Upon arrival to Athens International Airport, you will be met by VENI VIDI TRAVEL representative and transferred to your hotel. You have the remainder of day free to relax. Overnight in Athens.
DAY 02 – Half Day Athens Sightseeing Tour Breakfast at hotel then depart on a 1/2 day morning tour to view some of the most important sights in Athens such as Constitution Square (Syntagma), House of Parliament, Memorial to the Unknown Soldier, National Library, Evzones in their picturesque uniform, Presidential Palace and Hadrian’s Arch. The tour also includes visits to the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of the modern era were held in 1896, the Acropolis (Propylaea, Temple of Athena Nike, Erechtheion and Parthenon) along with the Museum of Acropolis. After the tour the remainder of day at leisure for you to further explore the city (Plaka, Monesteraki flea market, etc) on your own. Overnight in Athens.
DAY 03 – Delphi or Argolis Tour Breakfast at hotel then a choice of departure on the full day Delphi or Argolis Tour. DELPHI: Drive through the fertile plain of Boeotia, crossing the towns of Thebes connected with the tragedy of King Oedipus – Levadia and Arachova. At Delphi lies the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo and the Museum containing such masterpieces of Ancient Greek sculpture as the bronze Charioteer and the famous athlete Aghias. ARGOLIS: Leave by the coastal road along the Saronic Gulf to the Corinth Canal (short stop). Drive to Mycenae and visit the Lion’s Gate, the Cyclopean Walls, and the Royal Tombs etc. Depart for Nauplion the picturesque town nestling at the foot of a cliff crowned by the mighty ramparts of the Palamidi Fortress. Afternoon, leave for Epidauros to visit the theatre (4th century BC) famous for its astonishing acoustics. Overnight in Athens.
DAY 04 – Saronic Islands Cruise In the morning transfer by bus, from Athens to Piraeus for embarkation on the cruise boat. 08:30 Depart to Hydra arriving at 11:45. Here you have free time for a walk or a swim. At 13:30 embarkation and sail for Aegina past Poros and the shore of the Peloponnese. Lunch served during the voyage. At 15:30 arrive to Aegina where you have time for a stroll or swim. (Optional excursion, by bus, to the fine preserved Temple of Afea Athena can be taken). At 18:00 embarkation for the return voyage to Piraeus. Overnight in Athens.
DAY 05 – Departure Transfer Breakfast at hotel, check out and transfer to Athens International Airport, regarding to your depature details.
